Our playful troublemaker

Macho is the playful troublemaker of Heart Hoppers: our older, longtime family rabbit with a curious spirit. He is part of Sarah Johnson’s rabbit family in Powell, Wyoming.

Macho in Heart Hoppers

In the Heart Hoppers children’s book series, Macho’s eagerness gets adventures started. In Macho and the Missing Carrot, a runaway carrot sends the friends searching. As the series develops, he learns to pause, take turns, ask for help, and repair his mistakes. His big energy comes with a growing heart.

Meet Macho and friends in Sarah Johnson’s developing Heart Hoppers children’s book series, beginning with Macho and the Missing Carrot.
