Heart Hopper Giants LLC is a Lioness Marine veteran-owned Flemish Giant and French Lop rabbitry and mobile bunny-party business taking shape in Powell, Wyoming. We are carefully building our foundation with the goal of raising family-friendly giant rabbits and bringing memorable rabbit experiences to families across northern Wyoming and southern Montana.
After serving on a Marine Corps Lioness team, I returned home facing the ongoing challenges of PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. Caring for rabbits became a gentle and calming part of my rehabilitation, bringing comfort, purpose, and a peaceful rhythm back into my daily life.
Heart Hopper Giants grew from that healing journey. As we prepare to welcome our foundation rabbits, we are committed to raising them with patience, kindness, and close personal care. Our hope is to share the quiet companionship and joy these remarkable rabbits have brought into our lives with other loving families.
Meet Sarah Johnson
Iām Sarah Johnson, a Marine Corps veteran who served on a Lioness team and the founder of Heart Hopper Giants LLC. Iām an American Rabbit Breeders Association member, and Heart Hopper Giants is an ARBA-registered rabbitry.
I am building a responsible breeding program focused on healthy, purebred Flemish Giants and pedigreed French Lops. Our Flemish Giant mature-weight goal is 16ā17 pounds, while sound structure, strong feet, fertility, mobility, and quality of life guide every breeding decision. Our primary purpose is to raise healthy, well-socialized rabbits that can become cherished family pets. We also breed toward the Flemish Giant standard so that families interested in 4-H may have access to show-quality rabbits when available.
Our breeding program and event policy
Our breeding program is planned around our waiting list, with health, temperament, and suitable homes guiding each litter. We do not breed rabbits for event sales. Live rabbits are not sold at events; our bunny appearances are for supervised interaction, education, and photo opportunities. Join our free interest list for a future rabbit.
Heart Hopper Giants is also developing friendly bunny-party events centered around Flemish Giants. Through everything we do, we hope to help the public understand that rabbits can become wonderful family pets.
Big enough to keep track of. In our experience, Flemish Giants are less likely than smaller rabbits to squeeze through gaps in a properly built enclosure. If one slips out, we have also found a giant easier to see and recoverāalthough any rabbit can bolt, so secure fencing always comes first.
Flemish Giants are known for calm personalities and impressive size. Their care requires planning, including fresh hay and water, measured food, a clean roomy space, and time with their people.
First-time rabbit owners are welcome. We explain the care requirements and help families prepare for the first day home.
