One of Sarah's biggest practical reasons for choosing Flemish Giants is how well their size works with a roomy, properly secured pen. In her experience, larger rabbits are less likely to squeeze through small gaps. If one gets loose, its size can also make it easier to see and recover—but a Flemish Giant can still move quickly when startled.
Our outdoor area uses sturdy fencing with garden edging secured along the base to discourage digging. Outdoor rabbit housing still requires shade, weather shelter, predator protection, safe footing, regular inspection, and supervision.

OUR BREEDING GOAL
Healthy, balanced giants— 16–17 pounds at maturity.
We select the whole rabbit. Sound conformation, strong feet, fertility, mobility, temperament, and quality of life come before extreme weight.
